ODYSSEY evolved
Leading change through action. Supporting every step of the way.
Odyssey Evolved (OE) is a new joint venture company bringing together Odyssey Innovation and Evolved Research and Consulting.
Advocating and delivering change through ideation, innovation, engagement and design.
Drawing on the success of both companies in delivering ideation and innovation to reduce marine plastics, this new venture builds on their existing strengths to provide a unique and tailored service aimed at enabling behavioural change and a more circular economy.
Helping You Fulfill Your Corporate Social Responsibility
Regardless of size or industry, your business generates plastic waste—whether through manufacturing, packaging, or daily operations.
Unfortunately, millions of tons of this plastic end up in landfills, incinerated, or mismanaged, causing significant environmental harm.
Today, leading companies actively invest in CSR initiatives and enhance their ESG profiles by engaging in community-driven activities such as beach cleanups, committing to Net-Zero targets, adopting circular economy principles, and taking meaningful steps to offset their waste either due to regulatory pressure, to fulfill customer expectations, improve product branding and take advantage of market opportunities- or a mix of the above.
Our Plastic Footprint Certification™ enables individuals and businesses to offset their plastic consumption whilst diverting proceeds to support beach cleaning activities with special focus on additionality-recycling plastics that would otherwise not be recycled through mainstream methods.

Achieving Plastic Neutrality
Sometimes, ‘good enough’ doesn’t cut it. For firms hungry for excellence, the greatest sustainable challenge left is going Plastic Neutral.
Our Plastic Footprint Certification allows just this. Entities wishing to achieve a Plastic Neutral status require a plastic-consumption audit which could be done in-house, through us, or a third party auditing firm.
Once documentation has been verified, Odyssey Innovation will release the matching value of plastic credit along with accredited certificates.

Meet The Team.
Meet Rob.
Rob is a multi-award winning innovator renowned for pioneering the global circular economy by developing a solution to the marine plastic litter crisis by creating products from ALDFG and end-of-life fishing gear collected through his company's various recycling schemes, which support the interest of multiple stakeholders from small netmakers, charities, commercial enterprise and governmental departments across the UK.
Aged 3- Rob enjoyed the very first snorkle that enthralled him for life; eventually his passion for the sea, diving and marine protection lead him to set up Fathom's Free- a charity specialising in the underwater recovery of marine plastic and ghost gear using divers.
Today, Rob has been a key contributor and speaker at various national and international policy-informing workshops, local council meetings/briefing governmental agencies, commercial enterprises, university seminars, consultancy firms, podcasts, television and more, always concerning the fields of plastic pollution, marine conservation, recycling of marine waste, the circular economy, prevention of plastic waste, port reception facilities, extended producer responsibility and innovation in business.
Meet Anthony.
Anthony is passionate about finding solutions to the problem of marine plastics and delivering sustainable options for a circular economy.

He has also worked on plastic value chain analysis and solutions to marine plastics through enabling a more circular economy and better waste management and is keen to develop practical solutions to the problem of marine plastics.
He has considerable experience of project, programme and policy evaluation, having carried out work on behalf of a range of organisations including the Common Wadden Sea Secretariat and UK government departments and agencies. He also has a track record in developing partnerships, networks and delivering engagement and is Chair of the Clyde Marine Planning Partnership (CMPP) which is charged with developing and delivering a statutory Marine Plan for the Firth of Clyde, Scotland.
Having studied Marine Resource Development and Protection at the Institute of Offshore Engineering, Heriot-Watt University and with a PhD in marine planning, Anthony is a qualified professional diver and a Visiting Professor at the University of Southampton.
