The Kaafu was much better at tracking due to its more pronounced bow, and a lot less effort was required to keep the kayak going in a straight line... We were all really impressed by the handling... It is perfect for the smaller paddler and is wonderful to use on the water.
I paddled along the river and I was immediately surprised at just how straight and swift this 'little' boat was... At 10ft it turned on a sixpence... Hand on heart I found myself smiling as I paddled, it is a great first kayak for people on a budget. I don't think you will be disappointed, I wasn't.
Coming in at only 16kg, the weight reduction is significant and extremely evident during transport... Launching is standard fare... Once afloat it's noticeable how much more reactive and lively the Kaafu Adventure S feels than its sibling. Sitting much higher on the water, it feels poised to deliver performance-orientated paddling.
