Scuttle the Cuttle | 3-in-1 Beach Clean Tool | Made from Ocean Plastic
Scuttle the Cuttle | 3-in-1 Beach Clean Tool | Made from Ocean Plastic
There are 51 trillion microplastic particles in our oceans right now.
Every year, 8 million tonnes of plastic enter the sea. Much of it breaks down into particles smaller than a grain of rice — nurdles and microplastics that slip through nets, evade clean-up crews, and end up in the food chain. In fish. In water. In us.
Scuttle the Cuttle won't solve it alone. But it puts the power to act in your hands — and your children's.
What Is Scuttle the Cuttle?
Inspired by the remarkable cuttlefish, Scuttle is a 3-in-1 beach clean tool: bucket, scoop, and precision sieve — all in one compact, lightweight design that fits in any beach bag.
Its mesh is precisely sized at 2.8mm — engineered to capture nurdles and intercept microplastics (2.8mm–5mm) before they fragment into particles too small to ever recover. Ergonomic enough for small hands, robust enough for adults, and built for repeated use on real beaches in real conditions.
Made from recycled marine plastic pellets. Fully recyclable. Built to last.

What are nurdles and why does the 2.8mm mesh matter?
Nurdles are tiny pre-production plastic pellets — the raw material used to make almost every plastic product on earth. Billions escape into the environment every year, entering waterways and oceans where they absorb toxins and enter the food chain. Scuttle's mesh is precisely sized at 2.8mm — engineered to capture nurdles and intercept microplastics (2.8mm–5mm) before they fragment into particles too small to ever recover.
